Hi, everyone I would like to know does Clickbank allow its vendors to offer affiliates bonuses for their sales effort, if so how is it done?

Thanks,

Yes they do I see folks do it all the time. Sometimes its the web admins themselves that send bonuses to specific people.. other than that im not sure since I only have one product on there.

Do they use Paypal or can it be done directly through Clickbank? Also, what's a good bonus percentage to give affiliates, if I have a $47 subscription product with a 50% affiliate commission percentage?

      Best Regards,

It all depends on the average number of months for which customers continue their subscriptions. If you're promoting a quality subscription product, with a non-leaky sales page which affiliates like and which converts reasonably well, and offering 50% commission on $47 per month and retaining the average subscriber for many months, you'll have affiliates falling over themselves to promote it without offering any further incentives than that.

(The affiliates' cut, after ClickBank deductions, of $47 at 50% is $21.24, so affiliates searching the marketplace and using a $20 lower cut-off in their search-parameters will all see it).

I think the more incentives I offer affilites would make it better for the product sales potential, including the conversion rate (which I hope to be atleast 4-7%), and I will have a great sales page with all the bells and whistles. On top of that, I will make the subscription product last for only 6 months or 24 weeks which according to my understanding is about the average length of time a subscriber will remain a member of a subscription website.

You're sure that those "bells and whistles" aren't exactly the things that put many professional affiliates off a product?

Be aware that on ClickBank, 10% of affiliates typically refer 90% of the sales. Those are the ones you may want to attract. The other 90% collectively account for only 10% of the sales.

I know vendors who send bonuses directly to the affiliates' PayPal accounts. For example, quite a number have promos running where affiliates get 10% or 20% more if they make a certain number of sales during a specified period. This money is then sent directly via paypal, and not via clickbank.

    Yes, it's allowed.

You can announce it on your "affiliates" page and/or "vendor spotlight", but only affiliates opting in for it will be eligible, because only they will be in contact with the vendor, who has to administrate it himself - ClickBank handles only the routine division of the spoils between vendor and affiliate.

There are some vendors routinely offering 100% commissions to all their affiliates: 75% through ClickBank (which is their maximum) and the remaining 25% privately through PayPal.

I will create the first draft, and get some feedback from some of the top affiliates I know on Clickbank.

Great point Alexa! I know you've mentioned that many times and it is so true.

Trouble is trying to find just 1 of the 10% on Clickbank you refer too...
