Article Directory Auto Submitter?

I still believe in article directory submitting because if nothing else it gives you a chance of getting your article syndicated.

It takes a pretty long time to submit just to Ezine given the amount of articles which I write. I only submit to Ezine at the moment, I used to do some of the others but it was too time consuming, so I was curious as to whether or not you big article marketers (I'm lookin at you Alexa!) submit to directories other than Ezine and if so, do you take the time to manually submit each article by hand or is there a program which actually works to automatically log into your accounts across multiple article directories and submit your content without making mistakes.

I cant speak for Alexa but i do believe that most of the better article directories have shut down their API and now require manual submission

    Hope that helps

I wouldn't dream of using software to submit.

More than 98% of the syndication I've ever had directly from directories has been from EZA. Webmasters and ezine/newsletter compilers looking for content will just about all look at EZA. It's like PayPal, in a sense: it's "the one that everybody's heard of".

I also submit mine (on a niche-by-niche basis) to either GoArticles or Articles Base, but I'm doing that mostly because it takes only a minute and I don't want to look silly if EZA happens to go out of business any time soon, not because I really expect to gain anything from it.

I have seen other Warriors saying that they've had work syndicated from ArticlesBase and/or GoArticles. I've almost never seen it reported from any other article directory at all.

I can see no benefit at all from submitting to others. One clearly wouldn't want to get customer-traffic that way rather than to one's own site, as we've discussed in so many other threads, and the backlinks certainly aren't worth anything worth talking about (about 100,000 of them are worth one relevant high-quality site backlink!).

It's inconceivable to me that you could gain anything significant by multiple directory submission, Laura; it really is. The way article directory marketing works, nowadays, there are simply no meaningful rewards for "quantity" at all. Only quality and relevance have any realistic value (but their value - thankfully - is potentially huge). Google has made quite sure of that and said openly that it will continue to do so even more.

I would not, myself, be able (or willing!) to write more than one "syndication-quality" article per day: they take me too long to write. But well worth it, because with widespread syndication in front of targeted traffic, one needs surprisingly few articles to make a lot of sales.

I'd be extremely surprised if someone producing a much higher volume of articles than that (i.e. writing them much more quickly) manages reliably to achieve spontaneous syndication of (m)any of them through article directories, I really would.

Sorry that it's not the "hoped-for response".
