May be good news. Hopefully it passes and we can continue to use Amazon in California.

      California is (or was) the 8th largest economy in the world. I would assume CA affiliates make up enough on % basis to warrant amazon to try something. maybe ill take a look at their financials and see if I can find that information.

        I'm guessing the total pages for California ballot measures in 2012 will exceed 500 pages, with all the initiatives and referendums, counter proposals, counter to the counter proposals, etc that are being planned.

        One very interesting wrinkle not in the Reuters article, but being reported in Sacramento, is that the Internet sales tax law may be automatically suspended once the measure qualifies for the ballot.
