How do you track your conversions?

Hey guys

I want to track my conversions but I am having the hardest time with it.

I hate google analytics and do not want it on my sites, so I've abandoned that option. Its also overcomplicated.

I CANNOT get Website Optimizer to work. ALL I get is this message:
We encountered an unexpected issue. Please try again.
Can any of you get website optimizer to work anymore? It wont work for any site or any page I've tried.


I DID try visual website optimizer and loved its simplicity, but it costs way too much.

What are my other options?

    I use ClixTrac - Free Banner Tracking, Link Tracking, Ad Tracking and Click Tracking

    Works great for list builders as you can track opt-ins, but can be used to track any conversion if you can place a code to trigger the "conversion" so doesn't work for affiliate products...

    SO you're saying I can have that on my landing page and then on my thank you page and it will show me a conversion rate percentage?

      @momo3: why didn't you think Visual Website Optimizer worked for you? Can you tell us which URL you tried loading? We will fix it ASAP.

    I use getClicky.com they have free and paid versions, I only tried the free one, it works great for me.

    I use Adtrackz Gold, it tracks clicks, sales, actions, it cloaks links, allows split testing. Really useful tool and very easy to use.

    StatCounter Free invisible Web tracker, Hit counter and Web stats

    Is good for website traffic, but not as good as ClixTrac in terms of tracking conversion rates ect.

    Website optimizer is so simple to use but you need at least two landing pages & a thank you page. There are many tutorials and videos available for website optimizer. It works pretty well for us.

    Google analytics is over complicated???? Why do you think so? You can track conversions by setting up goals & without adding anything to your pages. You just need to add Google analytics tracking code to each of your website page & it works superbly.

    There are other options as well but can't say how much reliable they are. Others have mentioned about some of them, one I would like to mention here is Opentracker.net | Real-time Website Visitor Tracking, Traffic Monitoring, Statistics & Analysis
