I do not have that many photos. I all put them on my server.

I hate it when a 3rd party site is down and then says:"... this picture is currently not available", which is flickr's favorite sentence...

This is how I do it:
I create an images folder in my host directory then I connect them like that. www.yourwebsite.com/images/yourpic.png or jpg I hope it helps.

If you use many photos, use Photoshop.com. They don't lower the quality of your pics.

Create an "images" folder in your website directory. You can break it up into subdirectories if you need to.

Then you can link to your images by using this url structure in your website: "/images/yourimg.jpg"

A lot of photo hosting sites (photobucket for example), do not want you using their services for commercial purposes. Whatever site you sign up on, be sure to read their terms of service very well.

If your leasing a server, its best to put the images on your own server.

I use photobucket and flikr both platforms have improved dramatically over the years, and yes there are a few bugs, but overall they do the job.

I upload it to my domain and host it myself. Also, it is good to name the image with a relevant keyword to get that advantage and to use an alt tag as well when you put the code in your page.
