Find some sites that are for the UK market and leave comments on those sites. Then Google "sees" that your site is relevant for the UK.

Some simple steps that you can follow to get traffics from other countries would be----

    1. Have your site properly indexed bu major search engines e.g. Google, Yahoo etc. This will get you traffic from all around the globe provided your site does well in SERPS.

    2. Discuss your topics in relation to your target countries.

    3. Submit your website in local business listing or local classifieds of the countries you are interested in
    4. Reditt, mixx, facebook marketing on the basis of groups formed according to countries would good.
    5. Find some local people of your target country in social networking sites and then post articles in blogs and forums there having a link to your site
    6. You can translate some of the portions of your sites in regional languages and submit to the country directory
    7. Have some useful, recent time information about the countries you are targeting, on your site
    8. Spread your website in local forums

Will be happy if this helps you anyways

if you have a neutral domain - like a .com or .info or .net...

you can submit it to google webmaster tools...

and then - under settings - specify it to be localized to any specific country.

you can even do it with a subdomain - as long as the tld is neutral (not connected to any country)

we outsource this, use many people from many countries and it makes it even easier as they do know the places in their own country that get more effective link power.

Its all about leveraging the big sites, especailly in Europe and the middle east. We get some great results there.
