What This Mean?

Hi, warriors

I was checking my blog stat press report in "spy" tab. I noticed a guy from unknown country having certain IP, visited this page:

/this_page_should_not_exist.fake

this was a click able link and it leads to my home page: myhomepage.com | Online Password Manager & Personalized Homepage


Now, I have no idea what this mean and if it is consequence of anything bad.

Can anyone help me understand?

    Someone was probing to see how your site handles 404 (page not found) errors. Some hackers can get relevant information about your site or your server based on how it responds to bad requests.

    If you are using wordpress, download one of the dozens of WP security plugins that ensure WP handles 404 requests properly, hides the version of WP you are running, etc.
