Looking for advice to take my site to next level

Newbie here,
Been reading the forums for a few weeks, but haven't posted anything.
I've had my site for about 1 1/2 years. But it wasn't until this February that it started to show some growth.
Basically, its an (newslettertree.com) archive of newsletters from companies all over the world. I have the potential of adding 10's of thousands of newsletters per day, but right now I am only adding about 10,000 per month. I want to get the bugs worked out and figure out a few more details before I turn the tap on full force.
Traffic for the site was around 50 visits per day in mid February. Then by the end of Feb it jumped to 250 per day. by April it rose to about 350 per day. June 500 per day, and right now getting about 700 per day. with 1000 pageviews.
82.31% coming from Google organic SEO
Out of the last 3 weeks, Search sent 13,315 total visits via 11,246 keywords
If I compare, the keywords to last months keywords, Search sent 27,345 total visits via 21,936 keywords.
Very hard to find a niche, with these kinds of results.
But when I started this, I figured this would happen based on the wide variety of topics. I find it very hard to find relevant SEO tips. Mostly everything I have done is trial and error.
Haven't really started concentrating on backlinks, only have about 400 , with most of them happening naturally, companies or viewers just happen to link to the content. I could write all day on what my plans are, compared to my findings, however, I am looking to fast track this. Looking for any advice at all, and maybe even open to partnering with a proven SEO guru. Open to discuss anything.

Make Valuable content- the content you provide on your must be valuable and significant for them so that they can a braise them. Imagine yourself as you are talking to numbers of people but your doing that through your writing. What do you want to convey to them, what do you want to let them know, what is the purpose of your writing and what is your content all about. Write as if you are the reader to, put yourself on the shoes of your possible readers, how can you catch their attention and how can you give information through your article. A strong content has a great impact for long term traffic for your site.
Make your own content- it is important that you are creating your own content that you can considered a patented article, because most content are link to the other sites or content. Through providing your own content people remember you and your site because of the originality of your. Nevertheless its hard to create original content but for the benefit of your business creating your own idea is a good way on creating your trademark. Keep in mind that when you are the original though others may encrypt in the end it's you who stand.
Provide timeless content or information- the content you create is what reflects to you and your business, creating a unbounded time content will prove that your business exist for a long run. Somehow even though you are not in the business anymore still you create a bang because of your timeless content. Everyone can adopt and relate to your content. Through this those who have the idea gave you a favor of promoting your business; this is just because of your content. It should be for everybody.

      hope this can help
Appreciate the info. The whole concept of the site and the only way for it to grow as fast as it has is the newsletters. I think its a good idea to maybe write about 1 newsletter per day. or 1 per week. that would add some original content.
      Thanks!

  • I suggest creating a custom script and integrate with you site. This script would allow people to sign up for a daily/weekly overview e-mail with links to the newsletters.

Smart model. Haven't seen it before. You seem to be doing well on the SEO frontier. I'd probably think more about monetizing than traffic. With a traffic trajectory like the one you have, you'll continue growing naturally.

You could add a feature of "best of" newsletters featuring newsletters that are really well done as a resource for other businesses to learn how to create great email newsletters. Could be a newsletter training ground ... may even be valuable enough for a membership site.

If it's more businesses you want, I think Twitter and LinkedIn would be good places to network. If it's regular consumers you want to visit your site, then good ole SEO may be the ticket. I'm not sure who your target market is ... you have the luxury of being able to provide value to both businesses and consumers.

I think your site is a great idea. Well done.

      • Some of the newsletters you've posted have explicit copyright notices. Since you've breezed past fair use by posting the entire newsletter (the fact that you included the publisher's links is irrelevant -- you are using their content to draw readers to your site), how do you justify this kind of aggregation?

Sites such as the Huffington Post have come under a great deal of fire for their egregiously self-serving aggregation policies. Should I find any of my newsletters on your site, you can expect a DMCA takedown notice.

And for the inevitable "What are you complaining about? He's linking to your site" rejoinders, what I'm complaining about is the disruption of the intimate conversation I have with my customers. If I wanted my newsletters published on the web, I'd do it myself. I don't do it because I offer exclusive deals and the only way you can get them is to sign up for the newsletter. If you don't do email marketing, you won't understand.

Thank you, I really like your 'best of' idea. I was thinking of newsletter of the day, but I like this much better.
        thanks again.

I have thought about that. People sign up for newsletters everyday, and sometimes they sit in your inbox and never get read. But you don't want to unsubscribe, because its something your interested in. To be able to have your newsletters here instead of clogging your inbox, when all your need to do is sign in to view your interests. Yes, I think that is definitely a direction I want to head in.

      Thanks

Use video marketing. Make a promotional video or get one made on Fiverr for $5. Then post the video to YouTube and TubeMogul. This is the easiest way to get free traffic and google loves video! This will take you to the next level because your traffic will equal sales because video converts! Put it on your squeeze page and sales page! Put it on your blog, too!
