What would you do with this site?

Guys, need your advice on this.

I have a client who has gone out of business. They were part of a franchise set up. Here's their site:

http://www.tyresbarnsley.com

It's hosted on my server and is on first page of Google UK for the search term "tyres in barnsley" and several other keywords. I just recently stuck some Adsense ads on there after they went out of business with the goal of recouperating some of my costs.

The site belongs to me as they did not finish payig for the project. What do you think I should do with it?

Your feedback would be very much appreciated.

    Know anything about that industry? Are you willing to take it on as a business?

    If none of the above, try and sell it on flippa.com or ebay? Or try looking for local people who own tire businesses and ask them if they want to buy it...

      Only what I learned through consulting them, building the site, researching the content and writing it all myself. So not enough. Pretty boring topic to tell you the truth.

      Never done any site flipping. Any idea what a site like this could go for. The owner tell me he gets calls all the time.

    Hey Stuart,

    Looks like a nice site.

    First thing i would do is call up mobile tyre fitters in Barnsley and explain the situation.

    I would explain that it allows me to do a SPECIAL deal and the best thing for them is that they are already ranked for some pretty hot phrases.

    Now the site would normally sell at $xxx but because it is geared towards tyre fitters it is a perfect fit for you and you will get an seo optimised site, + a lot more business for just $xxx.

    Sorry we are in the UK - £££'s!

    If that did not work i would call up mobile tyre fitters all over the country then just modify the site a little.

    Should be easy to change the content up a bit and sell it.

        Well you sold it to the other Tyre firm right?

        As a rule when I used to sell websites - for a basic site I would quote £100 a page - so about £500 for that site.

        However you want to make the sale because the other firm will not pay you/gone out of business.

        The site and content is ready to go - I am willing to offer you the site for half price £250 for a unique site...

        If you have to go down to £200 and your done - that will easily sell for £200-£300 I think.
