Ranking For Google Local Searches
Hi Guys,
I am currently working on a local site with reasonable competition. My onsite SEO is tight and I have been implementing a back linking plan that has yielded good results. I am already ranked 5 on Google.com in about a month.
However, my real aim is to rank well on Google.com.sg as well since its targeted for local audiences.
It's still on page one, but ranked 10. Unfortunately, I didn't get a domain that ended with .sg
My question is whether backlinks from sites that are ".com.sg" or ".edu.sg" will have more weight in ranking in my local search. Also, are they any other methods that we can use to rank higher in our local searches?
