Awesome Blogger/Activist/Teacher Doesn't Know How to Monetize Passions

I am a very passionate person. I am working on my new site (in my signature) about travel and culture and I also delve into gender issues, global issues and human rights. I am moving to Latin America to teach English then hopefully Turkey for the Fulbright.

I love blogging/writing and the world and emerging markets, I love teaching, I just generally have a zest for life. I plan to get an MPA in Intl Policy and would like to eventually teach Int'l Relations to undergrads.

Sooo... I am a super passionate person- part artist, writer, student and teacher, I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO MONETIZE MY PASSIONS.

Please help. I want to enjoy the world doing what I love, but I need money too.

    You could try some CPA offers. I've seen a lot of political and cultural offers in my network of choice lately. They are kind of like "polls" and encourage the visitor to "tell us what they think about [politician][important issue]." You get paid when they enter their email address.

    Could be profitable if you find an offer that suits the style of your writing, site, and mission.

    Thanks for your answers everyone. I think the biggest thing I need to do is request what I want then believe it and receive it. I always focussed on what I loved doing and not necessarily on money, I think I should add that to my thinking. And Laura I think I will take your advice and start on writing that book.

    If you're in traveling niche/market, you can make a short ebook about certain destination (title it "5 things you need to visit in Thailand" or whatever), offer it to your visitors in exchange for their email address, then send them more great stuff until you think they trust you..

    Then start sending them relevant offers. This can be affiliate products (check clickbank)..

    Or you could even affiliate with local business owners and tourist agencies and get paid for every lead/customer you send them. In this case, the email subscribers would probably need to be very targeted (people searching for a certain city, tourist destination).
