Resizing Pictures on Mac- How?

Hi Guys,

I'm new here and would like to put a new avatar however I am not sure how to resize my pictures which are all too big. I have a Mac, anyone know how to make my pics fit into the dimensions they are asking for?

Wait- I just noticed my pic was able to get on here, but this was from something different that I dragged onto my desktop. I am still unsure how to resize all of the rest of the photos in Iphoto.

    To re size a picture on a mac you need to take the picture out of Iphoto and open it in preview and go to tools and find the adjust size.

    iRezize . Just open the photo from iPhoto and resize.

    You can do it in Preview - just go to the top menu!
