New member looking for affiliate advice on new site

I am new member to the forum and was looking for a little advice. I just launched a new website, affordableseoplan.com, and was looking to get some advice from those of you who do affiliate marketing.

What I want to know is if this is an attractive offer to promote. We have a two tier commission structure with 25% paid on the first tier and 10% paid on the second.

Also, any advice on the overall look of the site would be greatly appreciated. If there are any changes we need to make and so on.

Thanks ahead for your responses!

First of all. Great looking site. Love the design. Its clean and attractive!

Obviously the more commission you can offer the better. However you have to consider your margins and the like. Big performers look for a product that A) converts and B) makes them money.

For example I would rather take a smaller commission rate and make more sales than take a larger commission rate and make less sales, especially if the traffic I am sending to your offer is well targeted.

If am understanding correctly, on your first tier you are paying 25% and then in the second tier your paying 25% + 10%, or do they just get a 10% bonus on the overall sales after they make it into the second tier?

The second tier works like so: affiliate A recruits affiliate B. Affiliate B makes a sale and would be paid the 25% commission while affiliate A would be paid 10% for affiliate B's sale.

      Does that make sense?

The absolute commission rate is not the most important thing.

You should do tests and find out what the EPC is. If the EPC is above $1 for lightly targeted traffic (email list related to IM or SEO) then your commission is ok.

If EPC is above $2 or maybe even $2.5 to $3 then you've got a winner and you will enjoy hordes of affiliates promoting your offer.

Only one problem: 25% commission does not instantly look like it is going to produce EPC of $1 or more. That means you have to do testing first and then show people what is possible (and it is better true or affiliates will stay away in drowes).

You'll have to forgive me, I'm new at this. What's EPC and how do I test it?

        EPC is earnings per click.

The question is how much traffic do I need to send to your site to get a conversion?

You need to drive in some traffic and test your landing page.

Site looks nice and really nice video there!
