Found Domains..now what?

So I found 15+ really good domains. Short and really good keywords. Not my question is where to go from here. Should I just sell them right now? Offer them for sale? Or should I build the site first?

The problem with the latter is that I don't really have knowledge to build a site. I have only ever made one site, so I'm pretty noob. Any suggestions?

Anyone want to lend a hand, profits can be split

If you do decide to PM me please include a gtalk id or email. I cannot reply to PMs!

A domain name is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I can promise you that you didn't find 15 domain names that you can turn around and sell for more. If it was that easy, we'd all be doing that every day. I'd be shocked if you could sell even 1 for more than you paid for it right away.. without building a site on it. I think you just plopped down a lot of money for nothing if your intent was to resell and make a quick profit.

I didn't buy any of them yet Not that silly.

In fact I only bought one and will see how well I do with this one before moving on. And I can tell you that I did find some really good ones. Niches: worldcup, posting, content, money, xxx

And I can't really post them for sale here (I'm not paying $20) so I think I am going to build worldcupchat.com first and then see how much is sells for.

Yeah unless they are keyword domains that get a lot of searches every month, I would quickly get a refund if you purchased them. Many domain registrars give you 24 hours to request a refund. *Update- was writing this while you posted the above post. Good you didn't buy them all yet!*

Maybe start out with one or two and see how that goes for you. I haven't had success with empty domain names, but that's just me. Some people have had success. But it's pretty clear you're not too sure about what the next step is, so make sure you study up and learn the process BEFORE making an investment.

There's a product called "Domain Flipping Success- A Proven 10-Step Action Plan" offered for free in The "War Room" Private Discussions area. Just that one product alone could be worth well over the $37 it is to subscribe to you.

Hope this helps! Not trying to tell you to stay away from domain flipping- just hope you don't make the same mistake I did and jump right in buying domains without knowing what you're doing.

Not to worry. I am very uptight with my money. Even used a discount code for my domain. But like I stated above, I bought worldcupchat and will most likely try to turn it into a monetizing blog

If you want a tip to make quick profits with domains: do market research! Browse the yellow pages for businessess that don`t have a domain yet and find a domain name that matches their criteria (f.e. losangeles restaurant), then make them an offer and wait. Interested people are happy to pay for domains that matches their business.

Until you haven't sold at least 10 domain names, I would say it's hard to appraise correctly your findings. It's very common that somebody thinks he has found a bunch of good names and after a while it appears that even one name is not possible to be sold.

Personally I would keep away from chatsites if I were you, they were all the rage back in 1999 but these days we have Skype, Paltalk and Facebook for that along with ICQ and the phenomenal Mirc, you would have to invest in making a monster site to get anyone to come and I just do not see it happening.

I hope you do not spend all your money on these types of domains, and instead stick to clear product and service domains

If you see my signature you will see that I own Catteries.org, which I am building out to be a moggy site and even if I got half a million readers I doubt I would ever be able to make a go of a real chatsite on it because people have moved on now and it is hard finding people around when you are there, forums are still good though

I would say the domain you presented is worth next to nothing if you asked someone to pay money for it, much better would be to get a forum going and trying to get some sales that way

I was never planning on making it a chat site. Most likely WP blog but a forum is not out of question either.

But I need to find a technical partner first I guess.
