Is it a good idea to outsource your articles?

Hey guys. I have a question to ask. So basically i'm building a niche site. Meant for amazon affiliate marketing. Is it a good idea to outsource the articles? I'm not really good at writing articles. And considering the fact that i'm low on budget at the moment, should i outsource my articles? Need some advice from fellow warriors here.

If you are really not good at writing articles then probably you don't have much choice, anyway. But I think it will be best to try outsourcing a couple of articles first and see the results. If you like these articles and you think that if you are an accidential reader you won't think they are crap, you can continue that way. The other think you can think of is after reading these articles, isn't it possible to write something similar on your own. You can try to match the quality of others article until you are able to write good ones on your won.

Outsourcing is a good idea when you are not that good in writing, but as you mentioned you are short of cash too. In such a scenario, I recommend outsourcing first few of the many articles you need, see how the writer does. If he/she does well, continue with him (In this case, to make up for your less budget you can offer him/her some service and in return he/she can develop content for you).

Otherwise, find some good articles and find a re-writer to redo them. Rewriters come cheaper when compared to fresh article writers (There are exceptions though) and hence you can save some money.

Not just your articles you can have almost everything outsource, and there are ways to outsource that don't necessarily cost you much.

I have had articles outsourced before and it has been terrible quality. I had to fix and rewrite every article. If your going to hire an article writer you will need to find a good native english writer. It is worth paying the extra, dont buy the $1 articles.

If you can rewrite at all, that is what I would do at first.

I'm a decent writer, so I end up writing most of my own stuff.

There are definitely quality writers out there, but you gotta pay decent money for it too!

If you are not good at writing it might be better to outsource the task.

However if you don't have the funds for that you are going to learn to write better. One of the best ways to improve your writing is to write more often.

Well Outsourcing articles may cost you a bit lot more money well it costs around $1 for 100 words of articles ..

the better thing to do is buy PLR articles and rewrite it in 5-10 minutes .. that would save your time and money ..

    Hows that ...

Make sure you get samples and check them. I tried mturk over a year ago and got 90% or more plagarism rate when I checked the articles in google. Tried to take the cheap route and it absolutely was not worth it time wise. Learning experience.

There is no way you wouldn't have to outsource it since you said you are not good at writing. But, you need to be careful that you get it into right hands. Someone like myself, i have a blog on weight loss and since i do not have much money to pay for article writers (a good article will cost between $5 and $10), i resolve to give myself a target of writing at least 3 articles/day.
Had it been that you can write, it could have been the best option.

Alternatively, i will suggest you buy PLR articles of your niche (you may be fortunate to get this on fiverr for jsut $5), these can be a pack of hundred or more articles.
Sit down and rewrite then. Each shouldn't take more than 15minutes to do.
So, if you decoute 1 hour daily for rewriting articles, you can have 4 articles daily.
    Wishing you al the best.

That's a tough one. If you aren't good at writing yourself then you would want to outsource, but to get good quality articles it does cost and since you are low on money you may not be able to afford the best.

If you get cheaply written articles then you may end up with articles that are no good. The other options, as mentioned above, is to get some PLR articles and rewrite them. This way you don't need to create articles from scratch on your own, but you will have a solid article and just change it to make it unique.

I was about to say the same thing. I outsource some, and use PLR articles and change it around. It has been working quite well. I do it mostly due to the time issue.

The least expensive form of out-tasked writing is "re-writing", should you have example text on hand that just needs a clean re-organization for search uniqueness.

Typically when an operation grows beyond what a single operator can handle, they look to outsource elements of the business that are most safe from being ripped off by some anonymous oursourcer, content text and graphics are some of the safest work to have done outside. Perhaps the next isolated aspect, link building can have a down side if done improperly by the wrong outsourcer.

I would have to agree on the "cheaper" outsourcing aspect. The four or five articles that I did outsource were almost unreadable. Some of us Texans sometimes seem to have a language all our own, but those articles were way beyond anything in my experience. I finally just trashed them and started working on my own writing skills. At least I can understand MY articles and they are being accepted.

I think you should shop around see what they have to offer here. But honestly if you are in this for the long haul, i suggest you start learning how to write articles. You can take some PLR material and rewrite it.

Also some people are better talker's then writer's, so i also suggest maybe trying Dragon Naturally speaking(speech to text software), you may not have the budget for it right now, but it will save you ton's of time and money for when you no longer have to outsource your articles anymore.

It is better to start writing the articles yourself. You improve with practice. Also, once you can afford to outsource, you can explain better the kind of writing style you need for your reviews since you've done this before.

I would definitely look to outsource my article writing.
For me article writing is something i hate to do.
But if you are on a low budget then look to get high quality
PLR (Private Label Rights) Articles then only thing you would
have to do it rewrite them.

If you check google you can get a pack of 5000 or more articles for $5.00.
Then it should take you less than 5 mins to rewrite them.

If you are truly horrible at articles, then I would say outsource when you can. If at all possible though I would write the articles myself since the site is in its beginning stages. Once the site is established, then I would outsource the articles to make sure that fresh content is being brought in. I like to make sure the building initial setup is a one man operation (run by me), but for some people that isn't a good idea.

It is a good idea when you can outsource to a writer who knows what he/she is doing. Otherwise, you'll get headaches from reading all that garbage.

Cheap price usually means poor quality..good samples don't necessarily mean that your articles will be written in the same standards..observe the way writers write their emails when communicating with you, this tells a lot about the way they write.

    Cheers

I would suggest that you might give outsourcing of your articles a try and see the results. If it will be a positive result, then might as well continue on what you do. If it's negative, then there's always room for improvement. This is how successful people reached their status; they started small and eventually will extract information and lessons from others which can be very helpful to your work. Writing articles is a challenging part since it will require some creativity and originally in the content of your article. A good quality articles are articles that are originally written, has enough information on its content and should not have some grammatical errors to make a good market of your article.
Just give outsourcing of your article a try, you never know, what you term that you are not a good writer, might be a good article to other people. Good luck to you and always keep a positive outlook in life.

Outsourcing of articles would have the following advantages--

    1. You provide your requirement to the writers and he will write. So no tension for you.
    2. Articles are well researched
    3. No plagiarism is ensured, if you find any you would have the right to get them corrected by the writers
    4. Proper keyword optimization and no keyword stuffing
    5. You can have good quality original articles at a competitive rate

Soon there is a service going to be launched where you would get articles @ 0.70 to 0.80/100 words with one free article if you order in bulk.........I have the news, but let's see whether it comes out......But I know the quality of research is going to be very good; like ezine quality and uniqueness is going to be the main attraction with proper optimization.

If you are really not good at writing get it outsourced as with Google Panda 2.2, there is a lot of emphasis is given on content quality. Hence don't chance. and in the mean time you should concentrate on building another site or marketing of the existing one.

    Cheer!

In my opinion, it's not just a good idea to outsource your articles, it's an excellent idea... Unless you enjoy writing it would be wise to get someone to do that for you while you concentrate on growing your business or do what you're really good at. Why? Beacuse it would allow you to make the best use of your time and consequently accomplish more.

I'm big on outsourcing but have found that with articles
you definitely get what you pay for.

Since my articles are usually written more for the actual
readers than they are for SEO, I think quality needs to be
    your rule.

I think that you're better off paying a little more and

If you can't write good articles, you need to hire someone who can. Simple as that.

If you are short on cash, all that you can really afford is crappy articles that need revising/rewriting. This is a waste of everyone's time IMO, even a bad native English writer can put out something better than a lot of outsourced writers.

You may have some luck on Fiverr, though. Find someone who's a native English speaker with good reviews.

Once you have some more money you can invest in quality content. For now, fiverr is probably your best bet for cheap decent writing.

I have a few different people who have written articles for me, and even if they turn in something of suspect quality, I can still change things around pretty quick. It leaves me to work on backlinks and whatever else for other sites.

The main time that I tend to outsource article writing though, is when I don't know a ton about my niche and need a jump off point. I'll let someone else do the initial research and that gives me content and better research ideas to do the work myself later on.

    Think like a business owner.

Your time is the most valuable asset you own. Spending time trying to create articles when you aren't all that great at doing is going to waste your time vs. doing something more productive and simply paying for your articles.

However, I would like to stress the importance of editing the articles you receive. You will want to add your own voice to the articles so you can build trust and a unique brand behind your content otherwise it's just researched, bland content.
