I need help thinking of a company name. The company will do some website design, but mostly seo and marketing.

I have spent a lot of time thinking but I can't come up with a name that is short and catchy.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Ruled that one out already. Trying to not limit myself to a city.

Don't worry I'm working, just need to from a LLC. I don't want to use just my name anymore.

Personally, I would look at deleted or soon to delete domains and look for something that jumps out at you. With alot of the domain names snapped up so quickly these days, it's hard to get the domain based on the company name we developed first. So, many companies are getting the domain name first.

          Stick with a dot com
commercial, Professional and makes google happy

Look at pool dot com for deleting domains
domize is another that is easy to try out names you are already have rattling around in your head such as SEOKing, etc. It will tell you if it is available. Keep wordpad open and cut an paste potentials then go to go daddy and do the bulk register to see what is actually available.
dont use numbers, dashes, too many chances for mispell/mistype and all your advertising going to benefit others. Besides it looks more professional without.
Make it easy for your customers to remember (and spell)
think about how it sounds and if it has potential for mispelling. ( always an option to get the mispelled domains to forward back to your site if they do mispell).

          Hope that helps!

I tend to favor names with a main benefit incorporated. I spent two minutes in a quick brainstorm ... don't know if any of these are trademarked or not (definitely do a tm search when you think you've found the holy grail.) Good luck to you.

Thx I liked a couple of those.

            I had come up with:

            Liberty marketing
            Infinite marketing
            Xpress SEO
            Innovative media and marketing
            savvy seo
            sly fox
            cybertrax
            Netmedia
            netopia
            marketing bliss

            Maybe

            On the Marketing

I am really looking for one word (or made up word by combining words or word parts).

easy to spell and remember yet brandable

What? You dont like it? Aww, I thought it was perfect...

Seriously.. do some keyword research on your niche, see if you can find something with low competition so you can incorporate that key-phrase into your name for SEO purposes.

Have you thought about going with a keyword rather then just custom name?

That wouldn't hurt, but the main traffic is coming from calling businesses and networking with other business owners.

i would pick someone with a play on words or a mashup word if you want to go non niche related.

if you had a specific niche, I would try to get some sort of EMD.

I'm providing services in my local area for now. My business is not niche related since I only work with one business in each niche for marketing services.

I am looking for a simple name that stands out, is available as a dot com, and one that I am able to create a great logo for on a business card.
