Would You Like To Help Me Make £1m?

Hello Warriors,

I've thought about an Idea for the past few years now and think It's about time I went with it.

I think its viable, I'm prepared to put as much time, effort and money Into It as possible.

However what I don't have Is the S.E.O and website knowledge/skills.

I'm basically looking to replicate something similar to themilliondollarhomepage.com

I've seen people try and fail, but I know this would be possible with a few Ideas have.

If anyone Is Interested I'd like to hear your thoughts.

      Yes, Certainly brilliant. But if you could only make half the amount of money he did wouldn't you be happy?

      My concept would be exactly the same, but more professional and savvy.

      That 'kid' was blackmailed by Ukrainian mobsters and they attempted to extort him for half a mil or they would DDOS attack. (Wikipedia has the numbers wrong, I talked to him when it was happening. Unless he was lying to me.) They did and he didn't pay. Fortunately his host worked with him and upgraded with Anti-DDOS software, but could have just as easily just shut him down. As I remember it, he also had a hand in the creation of that anti-DDOS software, but that could have been urban legend. It was shortly after that that the last town in the Wyoming up-graded their switches and I lost interest in pursuing new ways to remain anonymous.:rolleyes:

    Well, interested to see in a year or two if you've made it happen.

    Ideas are ideas but really, you will never make anything with an idea.

    Optimism is good though, and determination and a strong vision could see you through.

        Anybody who is able to bring what I said I can't to the table would receive 50%. It would be a joint venture.

        You don't have to. But I have sheer drive and enthusiasm to make this happen. I came here looking for advice and constructive criticism to make this work for me.

        That would be because I've only ever read this forum. I now have a burning desire to network.

    I don't really care who you are, I would just be careful of revealing your idea to too many people, so really you should be careful of who everyone else is, on this forum!

    It'd be very easy for someone to steal your idea.

    So just be careful and only work with people you trust.

      I know what your saying, and I thought of that. They only have a base Idea and not the rest.

      Like I said I know have a desire to start networking, I need to find those people to work with in the future so I'm starting by trying to put myself about a bit.

    Welcome to the forum. With all due respect, ideas are a dime a dozen. I've got a couple right now that could be very big with the right kind of promotion. And, I have a couple of pretty cool proven success stories under my belt too. And still getting backers is tough.

    Jill is right. Craig from Whales doesn't mean much. No slam with that statement, it's just that without a little background your idea could be another Facebook or Google but you're not going to get the attention you need to fund it by posting as an unknown on a message board. At least until you've done something to prove you're bankable. And if you had those credentials you'd be bankable now. That's one of those crazy little Catch 22's that keep showing up in life.

    But don't get me wrong. I think you should try and try and ask and ask and try some more and then ask some more. Because there just might be someone out there willing to give you a shot. But you won't know unless you try. Good luck.

      I've been reading these forums for ages, I never signed up because it seemed like a minefield.

      I knew this thread would cause a small bit of controversy, I think it will stand me in good stead for, rapport building and the confidence to come back and create more threads.

            Who is trolling?

            You telling us you have been reading tells us nothing. Anyone could say they have been reading.

            It's not about that.

            It's about getting involved, making contacts, and knowing who you are going to address to help you.

            I can tell you this - if I were serious, and lets say I had just been "reading" this forum, I would know who to contact directly and how to contact them to be on my way.

            This has nothing to do with technical implementation of getting a site up or anything.

            This has to do with research.
