Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used DLGuard to deliver monthly content, or even if it is possible. My idea is to create a "of the month" type product (eg dvd or audio and newsletter). If I create digital products as opposed to physical ones it will be better for both me and customers. A traditional membership site was my first idea, but I don't want people to access "issues" they haven't paid for. Could somehting like this be achieved using DLGuard? For example once someone has paid for the month I email them a download link for the product, and likewise if someone was to buy back issues etc. Any feedback/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Callum |

Yeah I pretty sure you could just set up your membership site using DLG and put each months content into a seperate folder and use DLG to protect it. Get the customer to sign up to your autoresponder which will deliver the links to that months content and they use their details to login. Good thing about it is that if someone refunds/cancels membership it would be easy to disable their account with DLG and they won't be able to access any further information. There's probably and even easier way, I'm sure someone here will think of it. |

Hi Callum, Thanks for your interest in DLGuard! There are a fair few DLGuard clients doing what you're talking about. DLGuard integrates invisibly with GetResponse and so everyone who signs up to your membership is added to your mailing list. You can then do a "broadcast" via GetResponse to let alll your members know the location of the new content page. Some people use this same method to send "drip feed" content to their members automatically each month. So when someone signs up, they start at month 1, and it goes from there. Does this make sense? cheers Sam |
