Opt-In Plugin for wordpress - 2 Questions

hi,

1. where do i find a wordpress plugin that makes popup window when u are entering the site? that i can customize to look like a squeeze page?

2. is it making any diffrent for seo? google like it or dislike it?

    If I'm understanding you correctly you are looking for something like PopUp Domination from James Deer & Michael Dunlop. It's a well made plugin that looks great out of the box.

    You will still need to follow all the standard principles of SEO to rank your site and a popup alone won't get you anywhere but on the flipside it shouldn't negatively affect your rankings too much.

      LOL I was going to mention that one and then saw they weren't a member and thought better of it...

        i tried to install them both , the one that if in the war room and the one that u recommend here the popup-domination and both of them are not working with wordpress 3.2.1

        any ideas?

        also about exit popup?

    The pop up will not really do much to damage the SEO of the site however this does depend on how it is coded.

    If you are going to be promoting your site via Google Adwords you might want to check that the pop up does not go against their terms.

    The one in the war room does work on the latest wordpress as it is in use right now...

    There is an exit pop up the war room as well
