Why Information Marketing Works...

The reason we can create a digital information product(book, audio series, video training course) and reap huge rewards is the simple fact that knowledge is power. And therefore, the true value of a product is determined by the power that it gives the reader.

One Example of Power In The IM Niche

"Download my Super Affiliate Sales System and learn how to create a five figure per month income." another "My free training will teach you how to generate over 1,000 free leads per month."

And this applies to other niches as well. The seduction community will want something that gives them more power with women. The fat loss community wants the power to lose weight. The chicken coop community wants the knowledge of how to build their chicken coops.

I basically view the entire information marketing industry as a struggle for power. Those without the power, pay those with power for an explantion of the power and how to harness the power. Those with it are able to become financially independent.

    Most of the time claims like that are crappy products and shameless lies... not really "power demonstration".

    On the other hand most buyers (look around in the WSO section) in the MMO niche don't want knowledge... they want the shiny button

      I agree that knowledge is power, but why not give away the information for free and create some kind of revenue program that kicks in after, like a referral comission or something like that. Would that be a possible revenue model you could implement?

      That way, if people are successful with your information, you'll be successful afterwards.

    Yeah my dawg, you should always be able to stand behind your product. Testimonies would be priceless, especially of a established marketer. Never associate yourself with the lies and tactics of a beta marketer.

    And that is true, people will often buy because of a polished sales funnel, I know I certainly have, but ultimately they want the power to generate real cash money. That's what stops them from getting a refund.
