Confused about ezine articles

I have been using ezine articles successfully for some time now but lately they've made some changes and it leaves me a little confused.

When i write an article on my blog, i typically submit the same article to article directories including ezine articles. That has worked for me in the past but my latest articles have not been accepted by them. The notice i get is that my articles link to pages that do not contain enough relevant content. How can that be when i'm answering questions asked by people in the niche. My latest articles have nothing to do with my keyword research but instead i'm answering questions i find online but ezine article finds them irrelevant.

Each time my articles are denied i receive an email stating the following:
-My article is not live because it links to a page that primarily consists of advertising.
This is odd because my sites have a maximum of 2-3 adsense blocks at the most

-Your web page must not contain more than one exit pop-up
I have none of those

-We can only accept links which direct to pages which are content-rich beyond advertising and products for sale, where content is relevant to the article topic.
Interesting since my niche sites have several relevant niche specific articles

I sent them an email to get some clarification and this is what i got in return:

"Your articles have been placed in problem status for linking to a
page that contains the same article as you are providing, only
rewritten.

Providing a link that contains the same or a similar article to the
one you have submitted offers no further benefit to the reader, as
they have already read that article. In order to ensure a quality
user experience, we can only accept links which direct to pages which
are content-rich, that include a product, service or additional
information
directly relating to the article topic."

Am I to assume that i can no longer submit an article that i have posted on my site? Is that so?

Two of my sites have no products on them since i'm trying to just get a readership for the moment. One site promotes several products and the remaining one has one product that i wrote and i'm currently selling. I've since stopped using ezinearticles but it bothers me.

What actions do you warriors think i should take? I'm sure many of you are still using this article directory successively and i would like some advice.

Thanks
Zoul

Sounds very weird. Ezine articles has not been on the same level as they used to be with google. Even though I am not using ezine articles actively at the moment I am assuming these changes are to get the same kind of rep they had with g initially.
