Membership site questions

Hi there,

I'm building out a membership site to start a continuity program. This will be a site where people can get martial arts instructional videos.

I'm planning on using wordpress with Wish List member WishList Member | Membership Site Software

If you've used this before, I'd love to hear what themes work best with it. And if it's up and running I'd like to see your site.

    Never heard of it .... I looked at their demos, looks nice, I'd see if they offer a trial where you can test it out.

    Well... i would say it an expensive but very good plugin for wordpress for creating a membership site in minutes ....

    i have personally never used it ... but heard of it a lot in this criteria

      I used to refer people to wishlist member then I got it myself and found it difficult to figure out how to link it to paypal.

      I use something else now.

        If you're used to using WP then you should have no problem with WishList. It's a very good membership program that will do pretty much anything you want to do. Personally, I prefer Amember but that's just personal preference.

    WishList is the Microsoft of membership products. It's overpriced, under-featured, under-supported, but very very popular with people who have never taken the time to try the alternatives. It's not a BAD plugin, but there are better for less, but most people never come across them.

    Personally, I'd encourage you to support your fellow Warriors, Ravi (DAP), Gleb (MemberWing) and myself (Your Members) all have first class membership plugins that offer a better bang-per-buck than WishList (and better support too).
