Web Marketplace-Creating Software?

Hi,
I am interested in creating a marketplace, in which suppliers can upload downloadable files, buyers can download them, and I, the marketplace, receive a set percentage.

Does anyone know of any existing solutions?

    If you aren't knowledgeable enough on developing websites to the point of how to search Google for yourself then I highly suggest dumping this idea and doing something else.

    Creating a web platform to offer a service such as you mention requires intelligence, experience, and dedication, all of which it looks like you need some work in.

    Sorry for the bad news but it is better you heard it now vs. pursuing this too much!

    Sounds like a good idea, I'm not sure if there are any that use this business model you are looking into. I know there are numerous software download sites out there, some for free and some paid but that would take more research to find out.
