Current Article Marketing
-low quality content, spun articles and mass submissions to directories and PR 0 sites don't work very well anymore
-Duplicate content won't negatively affect your rankings if it's already indexed on your website, so if you write a really high quality article for your website, there's no need to spin it or write another version for Ezine or other article directories.
-The post-panda goal is to get good articles published on "authority websites", whatever that means.
The full article is here at anne-pottinger. com. I can't post links because of my post count.
I started doing IM about a month ago, got 3 websites up, published 25 high-quality, ~400 word articles or so between them.
Since then I've been building backlinks using TKA's Postrunner program, which lets you submit original content to various related blogs (mostly PR0-1).
After reading that article, however, I'm not sure what I'm doing is the best idea after the panda update. The goal would be to publish huge, high-quality articles and get them to go viral, or semi-viral.
So I guess my question is, what's the best way to go about article marketing these days? What's the proper balance between high quality content and SEO tactics?
Thanks!
