Thesis theme HELP - How do I put in an adsense block aligned left

Hi

How do i align an adsense block to the left of a blog post?

I've tried looking in the thesis content hooks but not there,
tried a plugin called "quick adsense" but no luck.

The theme version is 1.7.

Another thing, in the post meta date, i have no options to remove or add date stamp.

Can anyone help?

    This what I would try:

    Thesis > design options > columns > column order> content sidebar 2

    Then

    Multimedia box >select "custom code" >then cut and paste the code there where it
    says "custom multimedia box code"
