I would say change it a little. However it depends on how much you have written it like a blog post.

Some of the time I write an article for my blog posts and vice versa.

As long as it is awesome content I don't see there being a problem at least I have never had one.

Make sure you publish the content on your blog FIRST and then syndicate it with the article directories.

I do it. Just make sure that you wrote the post in a proffessional manner, not too much like a blog where you would more than likely post in a very casual manner. If that's how you wrote it, do some editing.

    Yes.

All my 1,350+ articles in Ezine Articles (and most of them are in one or two other directories, too) were originally published and indexed on my own sites first. (That's also true of countless other article marketers, of course - not only me). This thread will help you.

"Changing it a bit" - unless of course there are aspects of the content which would be unsuitable for people not reading it on your site, such as expressions like "on this page <link>" - gains you a big, round, fat zero.

What I do have to do, of course, is add a resource-box, because obviously I don't need that for the original versions on my own site: that traffic's already arrived.

EZA, in fact, specifically invites its new authors to submit as articles any of their own previously published blog posts which are of suitable length and otherwise comply with the editorial guidelines.

One rapidly gets used to this, and writes "EZA-compliant" articles for one's own sites, which isn't generally such a bad thing to do anyway.

This much shorter thread might also interest you.
