Well I am a 20 years old engineering student..Since studies are getting tougher I want to start well with IM....I am already working online in some company 4 hours daily and earning pretty good amount...But I want to earn more by spending extra 1 hour daily

Please Note : I can spend only 1 HOUR daily ...not more as I am a student..

How should I manage if I have 5 hours in my hand to work online(Of which 4 hours goes to other work) and ofcourse STUDIES>..

I'm sure you're going to hear this from a ton of people, but make sure you only try to work on one thing. If you have only an hour a day, is it even more important that you avoid spreading yourself too thin.

Other than that, try to find something that doesn't fall apart if you don't get everything done that you need to each day.

So obviously freelancing of any sort is out, since freelance projects regularly decide to turn into hydras and would probably just stress you out way too much. (They stressed me out too much and I had all day for them!)

Maybe look into creating and selling your own information product. Get a site and set it up to build a list, and then either buy MRR or RR to a high-quality product, or create your own product and sell it off the site. You can find all sorts of information on how to do this and how you can explode your income with backend sales to your list.

Plus it is a business model that can thrive off of only an hour a day of attention.

    Good luck with everything!

Well about the product, I dont know have anything as such to offer as I am new to IM(not new to blogging though) ...

I was talking about Affliate Marketing+adsense ...Was thinking over this...So could u do by spending an hour a day without disrupting my studies or whatever...

Well, I will point out right away that just because you're new doesn't mean you can't promote a product you buy or create. I went through that period of "I'm too new to do that!" and was slapped upside the head by a very nice (and very successful) IMer who told me that was silly and to get to it.

What if you wrote a report or ebook on making a success of your blog, or making money blogging for other people? You could even sell that report from a blog you create around the topic of blogging for a profit. Or you could give the report away to build your list, and then sell affiliate products on blogging to people who join your list.

There is really no end to what you can do, especially if you know about a hot topic like blogging.

Me? I know about writing articles, turned that into a passion for PLR and am this close *holds fingers a quarter inch apart* to launching two PLR sites that I think will be a huge success. I've been in IM for less than a year. Writing for five, but actually marketing for a very short time.

Don't doubt what you can do in an hour just because you're new. If you know and like blogging, run with that niche. You could make a ton of money in sooooo many ways.

P.S. Adsense is ok, but to be honest I haven't seen a lot of success with it. Someone else may be able to give better pointers on it, but I would say use it as a supplement to an affiliate program and not on its own.

I can only add to what lindsey has said by saying, in 1 hour you can get a lot done, if its a focused hour not checking emails etc.. in between. Stay focused and dont do multiple things at once this is key, no matter what your project is.

          Cheers

It depends wholly on where you're hoping to generate your income from, and what type of business you'd like to build with 1 hour a day.

If you are looking for immediate extra cash spending an hour a day writing content for someone in exchange for money might be the way to go.

If you want to build something slowly over time, then adding that same hours worth of content to your own blog might be a better idea.

I don't agree that an hour a day is sufficient to build a business, maybe to maintain one, but building one takes a fair bit of time, money, energy depending on what you're hoping to build.

Perhaps if you can tie in your blog with your engineering studies somehow, you might get onto something that has a market you're already interacting with everyday. (other students)

Good luck both with school, and your Internet Marketing

ps. Just think if you do come up with something successful on an hour a day, you'll have your next product already lined up showing others what they can do!

Agree, too: there's a lot you can do. Here are a couple ideas, to max your time and other people's traffic & other resources, since your time is limited:

      1) Focus on joint ventures (JVs), hitting the JV area of this forum, for starters. Team up any number of ways.

      2) Sell items or even open stores when the option is available, even small ones, at sites that generate their own traffic: this forum (sell your services in the for Hire area or WSOs, etc.), Amazon, CafePress, LuLu, eBay, Clickbank, Paydotcom, etc. Research the sites first to find out what's hot and how you could fit in, etc.

      3) Keep your eyes and ears open for local opportunities like internships and even volunteer work. You never know what doors they can open! Example: my own personal volunteer work at a local state prison has evolved, and now I'm a contractor there making money, too, and involved in working towards joint ventures with other contractors there.

Always keep learning, that's key to success for all of us. Sounds like you're on the right track!

      Go get 'em!

If you really want to make money and also want to continue studies, then you have to work at night.. This is the only option.

Explain to me, please, why you can't use weekends.

First, chart your course schedule and work, then you'll see plenty of time for study AND IM.

It may not be ideal, but what difference does that make? It's only until you finish your degree(s). In the meantime, unless you're learning a LOT for your "day job" and getting valuable experience there, in very short order you should be able to ditch those 20 hours entirely and put more time into your business - which is going to pay much, much more if you do it right.

Sad - or ahead of their times in bucking traditional hype about the value of a college education - but true: many college students are ditching their course work because it's just too damned expensive and the allegedly great paying careers simply aren't there any more. They're already making so much income that getting the college degree now isn't realistic; if they still want the sheepskins, they can well afford to go back later and finish their course work, and probably learn more and get significantly better grades because they'll be "more mature and financially secure" (as one of them put it recently).
