I was totally sleeping on Flixya!
I know I'm probably on the late bus for just now discovering the powers of Flixya but just thought I'd share.
I've been obsessed over that past few months about learning everything I can about driving more traffic to my sites.
I was listening to this man argue on his cell phone about how people are "lazy jackasses and never want to take the time to read but just go straight to pictures" LOL I have no idea what he was talking about but since I was standing in line flipping through a magazine (yep simply looking at the pictures) it somehow sparked an idea.
I'm one of those people that google something and then click on the image tab. I then click on whatever picture looks the most interesting.
Video marketing has always been my biggest traffic driver so I decided to give Flixya a try. I uploaded a few photos and I've been getting A LOT of traffic from them. It's also monetize but I haven't seen much increase where that is concerned.
This works the best on my recipe, crafting, interior design and weight loss blogs.
This was such a "duh!" moment for me. Sometimes I'm in such a "seller" mode that I forget that I'm also a "buyer". What attracts me to products will most likely attract others.
