Can someone give me links for video tutorials on building website , uploading content etc..

Hi,

I am not well aware of how to set up a website and manage the content and other stuffs. Also you can see that am new to forum and it is a great place indeed! Can you please help me with some video links which can show the set up in an easy and step by step way? I need both wordpress and normal html/php website building tutorials. Also anybody knows how to get free version of dreamweaver?

    As for the dreamweaver, it is a professional bit of kit and as such you are not going to find a free version though you may find a cut down trial version...

    You might be better off with kompozer, which I actually think is a lot easier to use since it is not as cluttered

      Thanks a lot. I will check the Kompozer software. I guess that should take care of my website creation and other things. Thanks. Is Dreamweaver better or Kompozer better in terms of using? I am new to both of them!

    I have tried both and though Kompozer is awkward at first because you do not know what you are doing, I just couldn't figure out dreamweaver at all...there was just too much going on that to find the specific tiny button you need is impossible.

    Kompozer in my opinion is far superior in terms of ease of use

    Dreamweaver allows for far more complex websites to be built in the scale of such leviathans as Ebay or Amazon but it is a nightmare to navigate for the newbie, hence the pricetag lol
