OptimizePress or ProfitsTheme?

I have been looking at both of these and I think they are both good, but I wondered if anybody that owned one of these or maybe both could give me some input and the pros and cons of each




So far (please correct me if I am wrong)


OptimizePress


- No membership script I'd have to buy that separate
+ Headers are easier to change and look good




ProfitsTheme

+I wont need to buy a membership script
- Headers while changeable aren't easily modifiable so basically I'd have to pay someone to create a header


My Needs: Basically, I have a mini product ready to go so I need a video squeeze page ready to go right now. I am getting ready to take that mini-product and expand it into a full product, so I will need a sales page, and a membership back-end. I can do basic photo shop stuff like cropping, resizing, red eye correction so forth, but basically any professional looking graphic I need would have to be outsourced. Any recommendations on which one of these would best suit my needs would be appreciated.

    You could always spend 47 second to download KompoZer - Easy web authoring and make all the pages yourself for free. Especially since it's actually easier to do that than it is to learn to use their proprietary method. And when you're done learning kompozer (takes about 2 minutes and 19 seconds to fully learn) you'll actually have learned a useful skill.

    I own OptimizePress, but did consider ProfitsTheme.

    The main reason I went for OptimizePress is that it is a lot more flexible. This does mean that it can take a while to learn all the features that OptimizePress gives you, but in the long run I think it's worth the effort.

    BTW Michael, surely you weren't serious with suggesting KompoZer?

    I would love to see someone create a full membership site and product sales funnel using KompoZer.

      Most of WordPress, Joomla, Wikipedia, etc. were written using notepad-like programs.

    Im with you on that one Peter - Id like o see it too!
    you can get kick butt graphics at Fiverr....

    I own both of those but prefer Metodis WPSE which does all of what you are asking above-

    if you can do all the editing then just get a great image done for $5 and then adapt it for what you need ....

    I had both, and I decided to use ProfitsTheme more than I do OptimizePress. I prefer the structure of ProfitsTheme. Hope this helps!

    I use optimize press, not sure about the other mention. Optimize press is easy to license for each site...and it includes a ton of effective graphics that make it faster to create "magnetic" pages that grab attention.

    I certainly optin for the profitstheme, have used optimizepress but the results are not too impressive especially on membership sites
