At Last! How To Get Gurus Biggest & Most Closely Guarded Secrets - Cheap!

There are lots of warriors that constantly ask how to get access to the gurus biggest and best secrets, and think that by downloading their latest ebook (that bright and shiney $97 ebook) They will find the HOLY GRAIL and by the next week they will be making squillions of dollars online.

But the funny thing is that once they pay their $97, and start reading they are dissapointed by what they have in their hot little hands. The information does not really reveal their most inner most secrets, infact sometimes these books are just filled with nothing more than Verbatim for their next launch or full of affiliate links.

But what I am about to expose is quite intriguing and MAY even shock you, because our ebook buyer just missed the biggest and best secrets as they were purchasing the ebook.

Let me show you WHY?!

Once you purchase an ebook from someone who knows what they are doing don't just go clicking. Study everything! and I mean EVERYTHING! sorry for shouting but this is important!!!

Think of all the ebooks you have bought and just simply gone through all the download pages, and upsells, and downsells, and cross sells etc etc without realising the process and the huge money and potential on these pages.

Next time you buy something, study the process, and where you are taken as soon as you click that big bright BUY NOW button! You will be amazed, as you become consciously aware of this.

Do they attempt to UPSELL you straight away, If you do buy the upsell, then where do they take you then? Do they offer you a One Time Offer and attempt to get you into another sales funnel? Many times there is often several OTO's put infront of you for major products!!

Study the source code on the thankyou pages that are thrown at you. Click on HTML source code and learn about the scripts and the new technologies, and which auto responder service they are using . You can learn how they are capturing your name and what softwares they are using.

When you clicked close and didnt buy, are they using an exit capture script and capture your name again! See if they are trying to get your name and email on the actual sales page, or do they wait till you click the close button and try to leave. You see some neat little marketing tricks now and then!

Study the Download pages themselves and layouts. Do they use their download pages to promote other products of theirs, or affliate products that are not theirs. Are they throwing bonuses in front of you!? Are links used to direct you to others sales pages, blogs or optin forms for freebies!??

There are BIG BIG lessons to learn here. So RECORD EVERYTHING You SEE!

Also study their follow ups, their email copy and their offers too!

How often do you get emails? Are they promotional or just straight high quality content to help you!? Do they cloak their affiliate links? how?

Do links in their emails go to their products, or just affiliate products? You can learn alot from the BIG GUYS when you sit and study all this! Because this is why they are so successful, this is their inner core of successful marketing!

Next time stop and take notice, study it all. Their copy, their links, the downloads, the offers, the affiliate plugs and see how they do it all. It it quite powerful, because a marketer who knows what they are doing can take a simple $17 page ebook and turn it into grabbing $50, and then another $50 and soon $200 dollars from you before you even know it!!!

SO next time you buy something, study, sit and learn everything. Think about how you can incorporate all these ideas / offers / funnels into your products after someone hits the BUY BUTTON.

This is called reverse engineering the GURUS and it is very powerful. But no one thinks about this as they sit there and download the latest and greatest ebook. They just hurry, and download their PDF and start reading, without realising some powerful marketing and tactics just flew right infront of them without even realising it!

I Know some very successful gurus I will not name here...BUT....more often than not its a case of DO WHAT WE DO, NOT WHAT WE SAY!....

Heres to your online success!

Celente.

Great post. It's a very simple concept that many people completely fail to apply.

I think the concept of "pay attention to what people do - not what they say" is actually fundamental 'people' advice. Sometimes they will say one thing and do the exact opposite - and not even realise.

It's advice that people should have as a fundamental rule of relationships.

As far as watching what people do, there's a massive amount of success that leaves trails you can see, but it's also important not to make assumptions about people's actions as quite often WHY they take that action is much more important than the action itself.

For example if someone is really into astrology and their horoscope says they should break out and try something new today - they may take an action that they would not normally do and that may be unwise in the context of their business. If you just look at it and think "they're doing it so it must work" you're opening yourself up for all sorts of problems, so it's also important to have a solid concept of your own business and not just copy what others do without that context.

    Great analysis, Celente!

Ya know, if you were to go back 5-6 years on Clickbank you would have seen all kinds of $77 or $97 products by the demi-gurus listed there. You hardly ever see that anymore. Almost everyone offers an entry-level product for $27-$37 and then begins stacking up-sells and OTOs into their sales funnels to make buyers feel incomplete unless they shell out for successively higher-priced products.

And, exactly as you said, it's the way they craft those funnels and grow their lists that is the real cash-cranking business. And, just as you said, the guru's real secrets aren't sold in their products, they are free for the taking just by studying what they actually do, not just what they say. Nice post!!! --Mike

    Hey Celente,

Seriously awesome post. I liked how you summed it up. Spying and studying on how gurus are doing business is fun. I can't count how many guru lists I'm in. It's home education at its best.

    Thanks for the reminder

That is a perfect way to build yourself a stronger business. That could be a product in and of itself. No one really teaches all those little ins and out and test results because like yousaid they are VERY closely guarded.

      Thanks.

When I learnt how to reverse engineer the gurus and learnt what they were selling and why, but most importantly HOW, that is when I started to win this game.

It is how millionaires and billionaire got to be where they are! They just modeled other successful millionaires and billionaires. Not copy, but mimic and utilize all the strategies of others who are already successful. It sounds simple enough but it requies hard work and dedication, and of course massive action taking.

Very good post, indeed. Unfortunately, if someone has to be told to pay attention they probably aren't paying attention to a whole lot of things that happen. They blow through the day looking at the big pieces of the puzzle without ever trying to find the dots that connect them. The key is to simply pay more attention to everything.

Yes, good point. Watch what marketers do more than what they say.

I also believe the biggest cause of failure online is that people will not dig in and focus on one thing at a time, until they do it well. They skim the surfaces from one shiny object to another. Better to slow down and build slowly and steadily without worrying about "missing" something important.

Also, try to find the methods that you truly enjoy and do them. There are tons of angles and methods to marketing. You don't have to master them all and shouldn't try, especially at once.

Yes, if you dont believe me I just check 10 ebooks from world renounced marketing experts. Now in these ebooks they go on and on and ON about having lots of articles and lots of videos on youtube...... but here is the funny thing....

out of those 10 so called gurus, the only one I saw who had 300 articles was Matt Bacak, and 0 from the others. Youtube videos, almost none from all of them LMFAO!!!...so you make a very valid point.

Most of these guys get their traffic from JV's, and affiliates. Some of them do not practice what they preach. Now I am not saying all them do this, but what your saying is correct, i learn much more by studying what they do, and their sales processes, than actually the content of the ebooks sometimes!

        Hi Celente,
This is what I call as the IM insight. Strongly agree with you, we need to practise to start seeing things from different angles. A lot of people are doing it the wrong way, thanks to the many 'useless' products or concepts sold by many just for a profit, nothing else.

    Thanks Celente,

Great Great info I do exactly that when I purchase products.
And God knows I have purchased hundreds if not thousands.
I also have a few emails that I use to subscribe to all the so called free info put out there by the gurus.
It is surprising on all the different ways they use their mailing lists.
I've found that most sell and swap their list all the time.
It gives you good ideas on how to structure your email list.
Although I would never sell my list surprisingly most do.

WoW! you just used the T word! T T Taking action! LOL.

That seems to be a swear word to most these days. LOL.

Affiliate marketing and having your own products are great ways to make money but only 2% of people actually get off their butts and do anything, so congrats to you, an welcome to the 2 percent club.

            great post.

my thoughts on this stuff is that most struggle to get the snowball rolling down the hill so to speak.

in fact, for most, the snowball is on the wrong side of the hill and they keep dumping time, money, energy, and effort into just keeping close to the top of the hill...all be it on the wrong side.

Its damn hard to get over the hill and get things rolling. and what the gurus won't tell is that most of the time a person has to have a ton of experience in many aspects of business and internet business to know enough to get over the top.

there are very few if any 1,2,3 systems that actually work if you dont factor in having a good deal of other experience from other sources.

Excellent post. It goes to show that there is no "mystery way" to get to riches... It just require the desire, motivation and knowledge to deliver value in everything we do and THEN deliver that value to others by studying what works from already successful people.

    Success really DOES leave clues...

hmmmm Success leaves clues is almost one of those philosophical quotes i reckon.

Yes, its is not just about simply doing what I said, but taking action and actually incorporating this into your business.

One marketer I talked to had a 3 week funnel with his business...and now he has changed it to a 52 week funnel. And his profits have skyrocketed. WHY? He took massive action and is now working smarter, not harder!

Guess you have to test and test, but eventually you will come up with a winner for you and your business.

    I totally agree..

We should stop buying WSOs and study and implement the ones we have already bought.

Up till now, i even the worst WSO i bought would work with some ACTION and fine tuning..

So all we need is taking ACTION and learning from our failures..

    Cheers,
