Anyone Else Having Problems With Commission Junction?

Anyone else having trouble logging in to the CJ site? They've made some recent changes and ever since then I've been getting messages telling me my user name and password are incorrect (I've used them forever and even have them stored) and then when I click forget password and enter my e-mail they told me they've never heard of me basically. I get e-mails from them everyday and have never been told I was booted out of the program or anything. This all started when they updated the site and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems I'm going to contact support later on.

I've had something weird going on too. Can't log in, their voicemail is full, etc.

I had major problems with CJ about 5 years ago. I abandoned the account, went
with Share-A-Sale and never regretted the move. My problem was similar to what
you are experiencing. Sometimes my PW/Username worked sometimes it did not.

This made me question whether or not I was getting credited for all my commissions
and I lost confidence in them.

I log in every day uneventfully, including just now.

New design is a little wacky, but more useful, I think...

My only gripe about CJ's login system is that we can't pick our own password, and have to use the autogenerated one. If I switch computers (or try to login from a different machine where it's not stored) it's a hassle.

You can change your password in the Account/Administrative Settings section. Scroll down to the bottom to the User Settings section, find your name and under the Action column, click Edit.

I got in to discover that my account had been deactivated for being dormant or something. I was told I’d have to forfeit all commissions (which weren’t much anyway) and would have to re-establish my relationships with vendors. Oddly, I checked my stats and the commissions were still there and my relationships with vendors were still in tact after I reactivated. It’s sort of strange that they’d deactivate my account and say these things only to turn around and negate what was said through their actions.

As it relates to my commissions as others have said I thought I should have made more. There were thousands of people coming to one of my niche sites every single day, and I had a banner for a popular and well known store in a prominent location, but in the end only made a couple of bucks over several months of heavy promotional work. I sold several high ticket items as well. CJ is good as an alternative to Adsense for people who have had their accounts disabled for whatever reason, but still want targeted advertising. But I’m sure there are better alternatives that pay more. I only use it on a few obscure niche sites so don’t really care and see it as something that could easily be replaced.

I dropped CJ when I found I was being cheated out of commissions. I knew a man who wanted some books I was selling but he had no computer. So he gave me the money and I ordered the books myself. Neither the views nor the links showed up in my reports, so I emailed them - several times without an answer. After my third email, they gave me commissions on a few of the books - then told me there were no commissions on a few of the sales but couldn't tell me why those items didn't get commissions. The guy had me order 2 more books, the process was repeated. I had some friends click onto the links for all of my vendors there and not one of the views showed up in my reports. I did some "google" and found that there was an issue with links being heisted by CJ themselves. Not sure what happened in that suit but I didn't stick around to find out.
