Fiverr for Social Marketing

Has anyone purchased a Fiverr contract for posting a link to someones facebook with 60,000 friends or twitter with 40,000+ followers?

I'm thinking of using these services to promote my blog, but I'm wondering if this promotion is trustworthy/will produce results :confused:

    I have gigs on fiverr for both of these...fb/twitter.

    My twitter gig has a perfect 22-0 rating and my fb is 6-1. Just do a search on fiverr for "badgehelp" and you will see both gigs. Here is the link

    I'm actually considering discontinuing this service as we speak for this specific reason (on fiverr). $4 profit on this is just not worth the time for 500 targeted hits

    Hi! I haven't use fiverr but I have seen it in Facebook often. How do you earn in fiverr? Do they take a percentage of the price of your gig? Or you will receive the whole $5 payment?

      Fiverr sure isn't in it for it's health. They'll clip 20% off of the top, leaving you with four bucks net. So needless to say one can not invest too much time in providing gigs.

    Hey vampiro, I read the Terms of service and they (fiverr) takes $1 out of every transaction. You can earn cash via paypal and credit card payments, by completing your agreement to the buyer.

    It's GREAT for buyers as they hold the $5 in escrow and it is not released until the buyer approves of the work done.

    It's terrible for the seller as they keep 20% and you are at the mercy of the buyer. And for $4....unless you are doing something that is automated or takes less than 5 minutes, it's not a very good deal
