Whats the best tablet (not IPad) for forms

Hi Guys
I need to source and buy a set of tablets for use by consultants in the field. They will need to be able to complete pre formatted forms that they can either write into with a stylus or type into. These forms will then be e mailed into the office for processing. We don't want to use I pads due to computability issues.

Any suggestions. Obviuosly price is an issue as we may be buying quite a few of these in the future.
also what form software is out there that be be deployed. The perfect solution would be Word forms or PDF forms

many thanks in advance

Not too sure about the tablet itself (although I have heard good things about the Motorola Xoom), but in terms of software for forms, Active Ink have some great e-forms, as does Synergy Digital.

    Hi Mark

Not exactly a tablet but ACE CAD Enterprise Co., Ltd. - Welcome to the ACECAD provide a range of different options - maybe something within that could help. They have forms software and handwriting recognition.

I did have another option - will try to find it.
