Auto-Blogging??? How can I learn more about this?

Ok. I don't want to sound like a really lazy person, but I only got through with writing 1.5 articles in trying to start out with bum marketing before realizing that I really hate writing, like I thought. And as I said in a prior post, I don't want to make a fortune online if I'm doing something I really don't enjoy to get there. Plus, if I don't enjoy doing it, I probably won't make a dime anyways.

I read a little bit of another thread on here about auto blogging and that intrigued me. But...most of the post was a foreign language to me, as I know nothing about blogging in the first place, such as plugins, RSS feeds, pinging, etc.

Where should I go to learn more about this?

    Hi.

If you search on the forum there are several very good threads on auto-blogging etc.

For starters here are a few:

Plus of course the threads in my sig.

I've been selling videos on how to do this stuff for a couple of years in the WSO section. (maybe I should just keep the WSO going all the time )

Note: I've just updated my signature to include links to the 2 videos I made before on setting up and promoting a blog on auto-pilot.

There are lots of ways to get the job done and plenty of variations on how to do it and how to monetize it too.

Andy, is each video $10? Do you start right from scratch for someone that has never blogged ever and doesn't know anything about it? Also, do you show how to monetize the blogs? Thanks.

    Scott

    I can't PM you. I don't have my 30 posts yet.

well..you just start out by doing.

If you have hosting with Fantastico, its really, really easy to install a WordPress blog. Just do it.

Then log in and "play" around with the blog, find out how it works.

Then you get the (very few) plugins you need, read their docs, and get Caffeinated Content, read doc...ask around here. I am gladly willing to help you with your questions.

I have set up a few autoblogs but they did not make much money.
My autoblogs are built using Wp-autoblog and my blog has a lot of pages indexed in Google. 200o pages indexed.
    What did i do wrong?

    Hi.
You are correct in that I do have a WSO currently running where I am providing access to my Premium Content site where I will be covering lots of topics to do with creating autoblogs, blogs fed from datafeeds, RSS feeds, Google Reader etc. etc.

However, I do not create the type of blog you have linked to as the business model I use for these type of blogs (which I will be sharing with my subscribers) is more geared towards creating blogs of mixed automatic and human content. I use these to leverage my niche research to understand my target markets and develop new products, whilst making some income in the process.

How much? that really depends on what niche I'm working on at the time and what I decide to target for monetization and anyway it's not really the point of them as far as I am concerned. I do not go round telling people they can make this or they can make that from whatever as it entirely depends on the individual and what markets they're involved in.

What I am more interested in is building a system that enables people to set up a profitable and sustainable business whilst automating and systemizing as much of the process as possible.

I seldom reveal my 'money sites' to people except those I have a close business relationship with, so sorry but I will have to decline that. I am putting together a demo site for my subscribers to demonstrate the various techniques I will be covering, not sure whether that will be made publicly accessible or not at this stage.

You really need to decide if you're going to go down the 'create masses of splogs to monetize with Adsense' route or whether you're going to use these sort of blogs to build a sustainable business around.

Or whether you are going to do something in between like what Keith Kolgane goes into in his thread http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...lly-works.html

Or maybe use them as Jon suggests above to promote and feed back to a central money site.

There really are so many ways to utilise these type of blogs as well as create them in the first place.

    Hope that helps.

Autoblogging! There are some plugins that you can use but I think as they said before you need to add some unique content of your own in there because that reused content won't help your rankings. Hook your site up to a few feeds of other blogs in your niche flip the switch and let it go. Send me a PM if you need any more assistance.

I dont recommend fetching feeds from other blogs, its the worst thing you can do in my opinion.
