Easy way to find affiliates

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to find affiliates to recruit that work within certain niches?

    burtie,

The absolutely best affiliates will find you. At the
bottom of every single webpage you control, you should
have a link to your affiliate program.

If you aren't getting people asking to sign up, it means
your website isn't very visible in the market. (And the
smaller the market, the longer it may take before a
    good affiliate shows up.)

To find affiliates in my markets, I actually begin with
a simple Google search. The mechanics are pretty simple:
you need a list of every website that is related to your
market (including both organic and paid links).

Have somebody do the research and put together a full
contact spreadsheet and, if possible, document the kinds
of products each company is offering. (The more you
know about their business when you talk with them the
    smoother the conversation goes.)

Of course, the disadvantage about chasing affiliates is
that a great number of them will be useless to you.

One of the best ways I've been able to get responses
from potential affiliates is by calling them directly
and setting up a phone meeting or by sending direct mail.
Yes, sometimes email works as well, but traditional
methods are great for people that don't respond to
    your first email.

    Good luck!
