Need help attracting affiliates

I just put out my first product yesterday following the advice of a WSO I purchased a few weeks ago. Now that the product is out, however, I'm having trouble finding a way to attract affiliates. The WSO I purchased instructed me to use affiliate directories but it takes time for them to get approved and my intuition is telling me that these won't be very useful.
The program that I'm offering teaches customers how to supplement their income by completing simple tasks online. I offer a very lucrative deal for affiliates with a 90% commission on a $27 product and a 5% tier-two commission which are paid instantly through Paypal. I have found a lot of information on Google instructing me to create ads along with numorous other tips to keep affiliates happy but now I need a way to get the word out about my program.
