Newbie Returns - 2 Simple Questions

Was around quite a bit 4 years ago...finally back to the Warrior family =)

Two simple questions:

1) What are some simple tools/builders for making good landing pages? (I'm on a Mac)

2) Where can I go to learn how to write good landing pages? (writing & design), I've forgotten everything -_-

Thanks!

      Glad your back.

unless your planning to create lots of landing pages, i would probably suggest you look to hire one of the landing page designers in the "warriors for hire" thread.

you can get great landing pages created by people who know what they are doing without spending to much money.

this is one of those things that can be outsourced quickly and easily.

and you can always tweak the landing page if you think it needs it.

yeah I second that.. Don't waste your time learning how to do it.

        Outsource it!!!

        Number 1 rule nowadays -

Outsource everything to keep you free to move forward

        Welcome back and good luck

Personally I'd stick with Warriors For Hire

You will want conversions and for $5 on fiverr you haven't got a chance

Just pick someone reputable with copy/landing pages

Brad here - welcome back! In 4 years some things have changed - probably for the better. Lots of free tools out there to build sites. You may even want to consider a WordPress blog. Simple and quick to set up on most hosting accounts. Then the affiliate programs out there offer many squeeze pages and only need you to credential the offer and encourage the sale. Their page does the rest.

I did come across a site with a bunch of free and discount items you may also like to check out. The free stuff is useful tools, icons and images etc. The reduced or discount prices include package designed web pages. It is a timed offer so you may want to take a look. I just wrote a post on them and you are welcomed to take a quick read - won't take long and may give you some answers.

For building your pages, I am a huge fan of Chris Farrell. His program offers free hosting as well as exceptional videos on web pages, FaceBook and a lot of strategy. I learned recently that they also go the extra mile. I had a real technical problem on my blog - couldn't fix it.

In desperation I asked if Chris' team would check it out. There is no requirement for them to do this. But I am hosted with them. Turns out they not only diagnosed the problem but got me up and running in 16 minutes -- FREE.

At any rate thought these two suggestions may be useful as you jump back in with both feet.

    Best of luck !!

Thanks for the GREAT replies guys. I will look into them.

I do feel...out of touch after being away for so long.

Back in the 'days', money can be made through affiliate marketing using Google ads...you build a landing page/review site, and affiliate link out. Or you make a product and advertise it largely through adwords.

      Has this changed?

What else has significantly changed in addition to outsourcing more functions today?

      Thanks. =)

Yup if you have the money use it to outsource...that gives you time to work on yoru business not IN your business.

If you dont have the money keep driving free traffic to your product or to your affiliate offers and then make sales, and save up to outsource. Pretty simple plan really, but you gotta take action if you wanna see results.

    good luck.
