Default Your Emails Are Delivered to the Spam Folder. Have You Checked?

Hello warriors,

To the date, my thinking was using Gmail is the best way to ensure our emails are delivered to the 'inbox'.

I'm using Aweber and Imnica to send my mails. It's not about a particular service - I had a lot of support queries showing the emails are landed in the spam box of my buyers. I'm using a gmail id. It seems the problem is not just with me, I just saw 3 emails from other warriors (where I'm subscribed to their lists) ended in my spam box (all of these emails were from Aweber). They are all using gmail ids. I'm not sure whats wrong with gmail ids. I used to get these emails in my inbox. This is a new development. May be strict spam filtering. But anyways - we are not gonna get the same rate of opening for our upcoming email campaigns if we use a gmail ID.

Have you seen any similar problem with your emails? Do you think using a personal email from our own domain can solve this?

Please drop your thoughts. Thank you.

Mervik.

I don't use my gmail account for advertising with aweber or anyone else. I have domain related email addresses and no problems.

Hi Mervik,

I don't know if the recent email from Imnica went into your spam filter

...but it linked to another thread here, which might help to give you some answers - (so check your inbox for an email from Richello @ Imnica)

...and read this -

Hello Norma,

I just tested sending an email from my domain related email to a few different IDs (including gmail, hotmail and one yahoo). Unfortunately both the time (tested twice) it got delivered to the spam folder of the two gmail ids. But the other ids (yahoo and hotmail) received it in the inbox. Thoughts?

I use windows live email, but im thinking of changing to gmail as lots of important emails get placed into my junk folder, plus google mail groups them if they came on the same day.

Hi Rob,

even the campaigns from gmail ids landing in spam folder. I'm trying to send my next campaign from my domain related email. Will update the open rate once I am done with that.

Mervik.
