Google Kw tool vs SEO Book(wordtracker)

I know this subject has been discussed before on this and other forums.
I am wondering if anyone has actually tested whose results are more accurate

Some say google kw tool is WAY more accurate than SEObook (who use wordtrackers database). Example one of my main kws on SEObook is
42 lookups per day, Google kw tool says 400 lookups per day. That sounds wildly inflated for Google

Others say oh no SEObook is way inflated. Really? What makes you come to this conclusion. What database does wordtracker use?

I have also read that google kw tool is not designed to return search results, more like Potential AD IMPRESSIONs if you purchase that keyword. Well sorry but that would be nothing close to accurate if that is the case.

How to determine what tool to use . or do you think Market Samurai is accurate? What database do they use? I thought it was Google

also for those who say wordtracker is worthless not accurate

who would pay 69 dollars a month to use it then? if Google kw tool is more accurate and free?

    some have suggested bidding on kws for google adwords and then observing ad impressions, to me that is not possible I dont have a cc to fund adword,s and they dont accept paypal

    I do have market samurai, and used it also. But whenever I need to research keywords I always go for Google keyword tool and sometimes use Market samurai to analyze keywords.

    When you guys use the Google Keyword Tool do you search for "phrase" or exact" or "broad"? Say I found a term that gets around 25 million searches a month in "broad" and than 3 thousand in "exact" ...can I expect traffic in the millions if I dominate those keywords? Or the thousands?
