I am interested in using magic article submitter that can post one article into 700 directories! but am concerned that doing this in one hit will upset google especially as my site is brand new, I am worried that I will get sand boxed before even starting! is this so or is there normally a setting in the software for the articles to be released over a certain period?

Im not sure if just 700 could do this but then again I don't really know much about how they decide what sites to sandbox..

Your fears are founded. You cannot get 700 links in a day for a new site, according to google. You are meant to submit them manually in article directories and blog commentors. That's just the way google works.

When your site's brand new, anything can "upset" Google enough to produce a "Google dance", but those are temporary and you'll bounce back from it.

You don't need to worry about being "sandboxed". If it were as easy as that to handicap a site's SEO, people would be doing it (and even promoting it as a service) to hamper their competition, wouldn't they?

They'll be indexed "over a certain period" anyway, typically. The ones that are actually published, that is. In directories that are actually indexed at all.

There's no real SEO downside/risk to what you suggest.

Just be aware that "all" the backlinks you get (and typically that won't be anything like 700, realistically) are non-context-relevant, PR-0 backlinks, and they're of extremely low value. Don't raise your expectations too high, for this sort of backlink building.

The idea that Google will "sandbox" sites for getting "too many backlinks too quickly" is nonsense, though - it's just one of those widely repeated urban myths of internet marketing. People who've seen other people alleging it like to repeat it, but that doesn't mean there was ever any truth in it at all, and there are actually many good reasons why there shouldn't/couldn't be.

If you have a long, slow, careful read through this fine three-page thread, you'll see a wide variety of views from experienced, successful article marketers on some related subjects.

And if you're planning an article marketing campaign of any kind, I think this shorter thread, also very recent/current, may also interest you.
