Facebook Fan Pages...Any Good Examples?

Finally getting around to learning about Facebook Fan Pages.

Would like to see some examples of good ones, designs, you know.

I've read several WSOs about them but they contain about 75% good strategy but outdated methods especially in how to get friends. Figured that one out on my own so now I have to go back to what are Fan Pages and what goes into them.

More fancy fan pages sites use iFrames showing content hosted off site,here re a couple of random examples:
vitaminwater | Facebook
Zappos.com | Facebook try zappos & win roos tabs
NFL | Facebook

There free fanpage hosts and commercial tools out there.

You can also use wordpress with a custom theme for iFrames, I got passable results with the free weaver theme which has an iFrame page template that leaves an only slightly annoying extra white border.

Facebook allows you to have concealed content that requires a like to reveal.

One social media manger routinely includes 25 lines bought on fiverr in her fan page package, so a custom url name can be assigned.

The trick is to find something that has or will have a fan base, find products to upsell to, get enough 'like's and 'friends' to have you fan page funnel to your sales page or list and products.

I'm going to try some niche specific attempts at getting lots of friends. Some of the WSOs here talk about getting 5,000 friends in mere days. I think there is a smarter and safer way.

These fan pages just look like one big banner ad. Shouldn't there be more interaction with fans to prevent the pages from looking like spam to Facebook?

good thread, one ive been wanting to ask but now i have a follow up question, so i get a fan page, someone "likes" you fan page, then when your wall a promotion or whatever, then does that end up on their wall?

Facebook fan pages is no doubt were very productive, above some examples of fan pages were very good and have good fans. If the strategy implemented on it successively then it will be more beneficial.
