Alertpay verification
Hi,warriors,I've failed to verify credit card because every time alertpay charge the testing money(around 1 dollar) from my card,it was "declined" which I can see on the Alertpay verification page.Then I tried many times to contact the issuer: Bank of China-the biggest,most decent and professional C/C company in china.They told me that there were several transaction records which were failed,they even can tell me the exact amount of the testing money Alertpay wanted to charge from my card,all of them were around 1-1.5 dollars.But they did not know what's the reason of failure.The only thing they can confirm is everythig with my card was working well.
So,I even applied my second card from China Merchants Bank.It took me more than 1 month! But when I tried to verify it,the testing transactions were also declined!
Yes I got help from the support team.They told me there were two possible reasons as below:
1.Some of the information in your AlertPay account does not match the information your bank has on file.
2.Your credit card cannot perform online transactions.
My answer for reason 1:In china,a person's first name is indicated behind last name.It's different from the way in Canada.Maybe there some conflicts with the information in my Alertpay account?If there is,can I change my Alertpay account to set first name as last name and last name as first name?
The address information my bank has on file is in chinese language,not English language as in Alertpay account.Can they match each other?
My answer for reason 2:I'm not sure if my card can perform online transactions.But paypal can easily and successfully verify my cards.Can you warriors recommand a chinese bank which you know it's proved to perform online transactions.Any input is much appreciated because I can not get reply from Alertpay any more and it's the most convinient way to verify Alertpay account by a card.
