Facebook Leads Analyst...what does this guy do?!?!

Hello fellow marketeers,

I am new to marketing and leads analysis and all. I am totally a technical guy developing social marketing solutions using some major social channels like facebook,twitter, linkedin etc etc....Now coming to my doubt, now a days in the social world facebook is a monster social lead generator of a sort right!, now,..how does a Facebook Leads Analyst generate his leads, what are his basic to-dos...
The reason for this question is, I have seen a job advert in Facebook which is called a Leads Analyst.
Me being a technical analyst and developing and supporting various marketing software for many years, and now-a-days facebook being one of the big social lead generator for me, I am wondering where/how does this Leads Analyst job profile in facebook get its leads from and what kind of leads does this Analyst research/search for a monster social lead generator like facebook!!!?!?! I mean in a gist what does a Facebook Leads analyst do to improve Facebook itself?!!!!...use facebook and search for leads....!!!?

Does anyone get my point??!...I hope my question is clear?!?....Any comments would be nice
