New Warrior Here - Need Help and List Building Tips

Hello Warrior Forum!

My name is Greg Silva and I'm the new guy here.

I decided that I wanted to start building my own list. I just need some help and maybe a few pointers from the more experienced people here.

I guess I will be targeting the making money online niche (at least for now to get some list building basics down, possible target other niches later) since I already have some ebooks and short, small courses I made myself on how I made money online that I have shared with others in the past. Would this be good to give away for free via a squeeze page to get some people to join my list?

Another question I have that is really wracking my brain is, how do I start and get my first subscribers?

I thought of putting some links to my squeeze pages in my signature here like others do but I know some people don't like that new members do that especially if they haven't contributed much to the forum yet...

I also thought of maybe giving away the ebook in the free ebooks section of the forum but I also saw that people don't appreciate opt-ins there.

How can I go about getting my first few subscribers to my list? What has worked for you?

I am eager to start! Thanks in advance to anyone that can hep out a new warrior that is ambitious and hopeful to make it big!

All the best,

Greg

Welcome to the forum. It took me a while to find this forum when I started out!!

I would recommend starting with this forum to be honest.

If you know how to make money with CPA then put together a product that you
can sell as a WSO. Make sure it's of quality and value and the method is repeatable.

Start by putting the buyers on a list. (this can all be automated).

Build a list of buyers only

If you want to build your list even faster offer 100% commissions so other warriors can offer your product whilst you build a huge list for yourself.

Concentrate on offering good quality products and you'll go along way here.

Also get in the CPA section of the forum and start building up a repuation helping people.

Good luck and hope this helps,

      This maybe worth checking out

      LINK TO WSO HERE

There are a lot of products like this about at the moment so have a look around. This is a great way to build up a list and within a few months you could easily have a list of 10k (all buyers).

This method works and works very well at building a list.

      Ross,

Thanks for the tips! I probably will make my own WSO of the knowledge I have.

I will check out that WSO you mentioned. Thanks a lot for the pointers!

    Hi Greg,

    Welcome aboard.

Yes, you should build your own WSO. All the free stuff hogwash is just that: hogwash.

    Build your list of buyers.

I see, so I really shouldn't bother making a list of freebies? It makes sense making a list of buyers since that is where the money is...

Even if it is just to start? I mean, I'm sure other people here have had success with their free lists.

But if you all say so, I will give this WSO thing a shot and start making my product of what I know.

But really, free lists are a waste of time? Awww, I have already been putting in work today making my squeeze page and getting everything started already

Greg, you'll have made all your outlay back the minute your wso launches

As for copywriting you can just check out how all the successful ones are doing it. Emulate it. There are products on WSO creation knocking around that teach copywriting. Trust me when I say it'll be the best thing you do!!

Wouldn't bother with the freebie lists. Too many freebie seekers. You'll spend most of your time trying to convert them into buyers. You cut this step out the minute you sell a wso.. Buyers straight onto your list... Give it a try...

      Hey Greg,

HP is right about the power of a buyers list. Once had two lists, one a buyers list of about 250 people and the other was my general list of 7k. I sent the exact same email promo to both lists. I made more sales from the 250 people than I did from the list of 7k!

Don't underestimate the power of buyers!

If you can develop a WSO from what you already know, you'd be able to get a buyers list pretty quickly

  • The question and challenge is- what do you do a WSO on if you are a newbie? How do you add value?

Hey everyone, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely make my own WSO then of what I know. You all know more than me and have been here for way longer so I will take your advice.

@mark: Everyone has something they are good at, a talent or knowledge that someone else does not know. Take those ideas, talents or knowledge and make it into a product. It is what I am going to do...

Thanks for the tips everyone! I will be getting to work making my first WSO tonight!
