Mind Mapping Warriors: Attention

Hi All,

Like many others, I find Mind Mapping helps me to create products and and it also helps me with other money making endeavors.

For those who use mind maps to create products, organize your time or for any other reason there has been a great update to Free Minds.

I find this latest version faster and more responsive from launching to saving to reopening current maps.

Just Google "free minds" and you will find it.

By "this latest version", what exactly do you mean? The software freemind?

I like bubbl.us. No downloads, doesn't matter if you have PC or Mac, it just works.

    George,

Just updated mine last evening. You're right. Much snappier.

Maybe I'm a little old fashioned lol.. but I really like doing my mind maps or generally most of my writing with pen and paper. My favorite pen and very large sheets of plain white paper to be exact. Somehow that helps my thoughts flow best, it's almost like I don't have to think when I make the mind maps or write whatever I'm writing

Doing stuff directly on the computer.. like just typing and looking at a screen.. just doesn't cut it for me. Doesn't get me into that same automatic creative flow where I just get really focused and forget everything around me until at some point I wrote half a book and didn't even realize it

I prefer pen and paper too but discovered the ideal solution (for me) many years ago: A tablet pc. I use OneNote as my "paper" to write, doodle, draw, etc. I can also write everything by hand if I want. This response is written in ink with my stylus and Windows converted it to typed text for me.

I don't care for mind mapping though. All the clutter and confusion uses up too much brainpower to try and sort out what I'm looking at.

George, I've been wanting to do MindMapping for quite some time to help me put my crazy ideas somewhere... plus, many people swear by them.

I gave it a shot before but it seemed slow like it was about to crash or something... anyway, guess it's time to find out why MM is so popular
