Squeeze page opt-in or niche website opt-in?

Hey warriors!

I am about to get started on my own video series for a niche I have been into for a while and I am pretty much making that video series a part of my follow up messages for that specific niche's Aweber list.

I figured I would make more conversions if I had a legit video series explaining everything instead of just typing it all out.

Anyways, I would like to get your opinions on whether you prefer to build a single squeeze page and concentrate on driving massive traffic to it or building a niche website with tons of content and a opt-in form somewhere?

Right now I am leaning more towards the single squeeze page type of theory.

Any help would be nice!

  • I would say it depends on WHAT niche you are in. It varies from niche to niche. Having said that, I still have a preference to build a single squeeze page. I still strongly believe there is nothing stronger than list-building, the money is in the list!

And having a single opt-in page (if done correctly) will give you a much higher opt-in rate than one that is spread in between a buch of content.

Thanks Mark! That is what I was thinking as well.

    Cheers!

I'd have to agree with Mark on that too. Opt-in forms on sales pages do not perform no where near as good as single squeeze pages. However don't over look using them there as well. You have a few people that want more info before they will make a decision on a purchase. Having an opt-in on a sales page is never a bad thing.
