How does clickbank credit a sale?

If some one with no cookies on their computer clicked on a link to clickbank product, lets call it ABC, then the next day form someone else site click on a click bank page XYZ.

Who would get credit for the sale of XYZ?

I'm pretty sure clickbank uses a last cookie.

yes, clickbank uses a last in cookie...meaning whoever the last affiliate to set a cookie for a particular clickbank product is gets the credit.

As far as I am aware it is a 60-day cookie, credited to the most recent affiliate.

I'm assuming you are aware what a "cookie" is? If not, it's a small text file dropped on the users computer when they visit a site. It can only be read by the site that created it, and can be set to expire after a predetermined period.

ClickBank uses cookies to credit affiliates with a purchase. If a visitor clicks your affiliate link but does not purchase a product the cookie is deposited on their computer. It has a lifespan of 60 days, meaning if that customer were to change their mind and purchase the product within the 60-day period you would still get credit for the sale. Actually, if they purchase ANY ClickBank product within 60 days you would get credit.

    Hope this helps!

      That is not correct.

Only products within the same vendor account will
      earn you credit.

Thanks folks, I saw some people asking people to delete cookies before buying from CB.
    Thought it was overkill.
