Tying unrelated sites together

Okay I am working on 3 different projects that I want to "come together" & here is where I am at so far.

1. My main business is fixing computers via remote support been doing it for over 10+ years. I have to work real hard but it pays the bills (almost). (have website)Business is slow usually in Summer. That is now...

2. Have written ebook cookbook on my hobby. (sorta nitchy ((have website & on published on Amazon kindle)What I really want to do)youtube show maybe)

3. Have developed a comedy cartoon type "character" and I am in the process of producing intro/exit songs for youtube channel. The comedy "character" videos may have potential to go viral because he is and can be relevant to many many current events.

So

I want to have elements in place, like Amazon store to sell cooking things & spices related to ebook. (For ebook I have considered clickbank but unsure)

RIGHT?

I feel like I am all over the place and I need some focus; I seem to run out of gas sometimes, I wish I could just hire it ALL out and just work on content related to book and character!
I have some extra money in spurts, BUT money IS tight & is related to economy.
So I have all of these ideas but I need to hone them.
But how?... has anyone else been here? Need help... and if its you helping me to help myself it has to be baby steps...

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Tink

Oh, do I feel your pain.

I like to play and experiment and find myself way too stretched out.

This year I have dropped a ton of domains (still dropping) so I could bring in the reigns a bit.

    What you might consider doing:

Put together project folders for what you have, and note where each of those projects is at. See what needs to be done to finish off some things.

Your main source of income needs to be the priority. Try figuring out first what you can do to improve on that particular sales funnel. Do you have a list from your computer biz? Promote some offers to them. If you have not been making a list then that is something you should really be doing for that niche.

The cookbook sounds great - and go in and see what kind of traffic you are getting to that first, and decide how you can promote it even more. That can be set up as a hands off delivery system so for that point alone it is a keeper. One way to drum up some quick cash too is to write a report on what you did to create that book and get it published in the first place. That type of information alone can qualify as a special offer here on this forum and could be marketed via youtube with a video

Also, getting a site up to help promote the book and provide cooking utensils is something that could be done in a week. Adding an affiliate program for the cookbook can be done with or without clickbank. If you don't use clickbank, you will want a list of places to list your affiliate offer so you can get some exposure to it. There are other ways to get affiliates as well - such as commenting on a cooking blog and asking the owner of that blog if they are interested in promoting your book. You can also consider some JV's and/or pay for solo ads.

Schedule the priorities and give yourself a schedule to work from to stay focused.

As for your cartoon thing - not sure what your long term plans or goals are with that. Sounds like it is not making you money at the moment, so personally I'd stick that on the bottom of the projects list.

      Jill,

      Thanks for the info!

So first thing, with first business...List - I am gonna milk it. Increase cash flow.

Secondly, I think I may need help with the second one...

Cash from a Report? Not sure how to do that one.
Setting up a store? - would that be easy with Amazon?
And use youtube to do a small series on the book.

The last item is just pretty much about using a viral video to drive traffic to my sites even though it is totally unrelated.

      Thanks,

      Tink
