Can money be made selling MRR's?

If some one else creates great products, can it be worth the investment to sell them? via mrr? How much can really be made? Is it possible to create a real income doing this? (this is for research for my own ebook, i've not adventured into this area for myself, so i want to check w/ those who have)

thx

    Hey Catrina,

I can't speak for other Warriors, but I can tell you that I manage to earn a few hundred dollars a month, almost every single month like clockwork by selling products with MRR and PLR.

No, I don't do this by selling via a list of subscribers, but rather through an online digital download store. Understand though too that I've been running this particular store for a couple of years now, but it wasn't too much work to set up.

And, even when I'm offline I still manage to earn money. Online stores can be a true autopilot money machine if done correctly.

Sure, I don't earn thousands a month, but I'm pretty lazy and if I put more effort into selling MRR or PLR products I could earn substantially more than what I do. But I'm comfortable with earning the few hundred each month as an extra source of income. It definitely comes in handy

So, to answer your question, YES it's most definitely possible to earn money with MRR products

Yes, it's possible, but you need to repackage the product.

I mean that you need to rewrite the sales letter, and get a new cover for the ebook (or software/audio).

It works, just start with one product, then go to the next.

ok should all mrr products contain a sales letter, cover ect? or is it worth the branding process be left out of the product creation? if you need to rewrite the sales stuff anyway, would it be simpler to get the mrr and sell it as you'd like to?

    Catrina,

While MRR products should contain a sales letter, some of them do not. Now, are those products that don't contain a pre written sales letter worth less than those products that do? Not necessarily.

There is another way to sell MRR products without writing a sales letter. And that is to write up a personal review of the product and then include a link off to your sales page/link. Affiliates do this all the time and it's a very good selling technique.

Again, I will say that personally, using the online digital goods store, as I do, I simply copy and paste the included sales letters for products and I still manage to earn from the products.

But, there is something to be said for being original and creating your own unique sales letters for MRR products, as Franck stated. Sometimes, more often than not, this can generate better sales than by simply copying and pasting a pre-written sales letter.

Mostly it's going to depend on the selling medium you are utilizing to sell your products.

I think if you do add a sales page it adds more perceived value to the package and you can charge more for it.

Also, people like everything to be handed to them, complete and ready to go, whatever takes the work out of it for them so MRR and PLR with the whole package ie sales letter, web graphics, product are more appealing.

I take professionally written sales copy for my PLR products and whip them up into a ready made mini site templates that are essentially ready to roll out, all they need to do is FTP the files and they're away.

    Hope this helps.

You can make money with plr and mrr products just like you can with your own products or affiliate products. The difference is, with plr you can save a lot of time (and usually money) vs creating your own product. The secret is to repackage it completely to make it your own. This means your own website, your own ebook cover, your own sales letter and your rewritten content.

There are a few ways to do this without spending a ton of money/time. First, you can go to Red Hot Covers and signup for up to ten website's designed a month for $197 ($20 a website).

Then go to ScriptLance.com Custom Freelance Programming. Outsource web projects to programmers and designers. or www.craigslist.com and hire someone to rewrite the salesletter for you for $10-$20. You can also hire them to rewrite the ebook or pdf for you for about $50 depending on the length. (Remember, you are providing the content. They're just rewording it to make it "yours").

Then get Justin Mitchie's wso secrets and follow his advice for publishing your wso. You can get a copy at www.freetoolsandtips.com/wso

If you don't have a great resource for plr and mrr you can go to www.freetoolsandtips.com/nicheempire for the best one online (in my humble opinion

If you do that, you're investment will be a few hundred dollars, but you should make about a thousand for each product on the warrior's forum alone if you follow my instructions AND build your list if you have them 'register' each purchase.

    Do it to it!

    The Lady,

One pretty standard way to make money using
Master Resale Rights products is to use them as
bonuses for another product (your own or not).

Some people go overboard -- don't offer a deal
of 40 ebooks! lol. However, offering a good
MRR product as a bonus for another good
product is an easy way to add a few points
    to your conversion.

Also, you can use them as a post-purchase
"unadvertised bonus" to help curb refunds
    you're getting from another product.

There are many ways to use them outside
    of direct sales, 1-to-1.
